Suggested Polishing Sequence
- Clean and prepare the metal, removing coatings and deeper damage before polishing where necessary.
- Select the wheel size that best matches the working area and machine.
- Use a suitable wheel with Tripoli for the initial cutting and polishing stage on aluminium and other compatible soft metals.
- Move to a clean stitched or loose wheel with SS Finish, Multishine or Green Chrome to refine and brighten.
- Use the shaped cotton mops for curves, recesses and difficult-to-reach areas.
- Remove residue with Vienna Lime, then finish by hand with Liquid Reflection or Blue Sapphire.
Important: Confirm wheel size, bore and safe operating speed are compatible with your machine. Keep every compound on a separate wheel and use appropriate protective equipment.
