This Multi-Pad Glass and Perspex Polishing Kit is a practical,

The included 1500W Shumba variable-speed polisher provides the power
and speed control needed for careful restoration work. Smaller pads
help concentrate polishing on localised defects, while the 125mm and
150mm pads cover larger areas more efficiently.

Choose 50mm, 75mm, 125mm or 150mm pads according to the size
and location of the repair.
Variable-speed control
Adjust the Shumba polisher between 600 and 3,200 RPM to suit
the surface and stage of polishing.

Scratch-depth guide: This kit is intended primarily
for fine scratches that cannot be clearly felt with a fingernail.
Deeper scratches normally require a more aggressive, staged glass-repair system.

How to use the kit
- Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dirt, grease and residue.
- Identify and mark the repair area from the opposite side of the glass.
- Mix the cerium oxide with water to create a thin, milk-like slurry.
- Select the pad size that best matches the area being repaired.
- Apply a small amount of slurry to the pad or working surface.
- Begin at a controlled speed and use even, overlapping movements.
- Work up-and-down and side-to-side without holding the pad in one place.
- Keep the surface wet and cool throughout the polishing process.
- Wipe away residue and inspect the surface regularly.
- Wash and dry the pads before storing them for future use.
Important: Do not allow the surface to overheat.
Test Perspex, coated glass and unfamiliar materials in an inconspicuous
area first. Excessive polishing of automotive glass may affect optical clarity.
Frequently asked questions
Can this kit remove every glass scratch?
No. It is best suited to fine scratches that cannot be readily felt
with a fingernail. Deep damage may require specialist abrasives or professional repair.
Why are four pad sizes included?
The 50mm and 75mm pads provide greater control on small areas,
while the 125mm and 150mm pads help cover broader surfaces efficiently.
Can the polishing pads be reused?
Yes. Wash the pads thoroughly after use, allow them to dry and
store them away from dirt or other polishing compounds.
Is the kit suitable for Perspex?
It can be used for suitable Perspex and plastic-polishing work,
but plastic is more heat-sensitive than glass. Begin gently,
keep the surface cool and test first.
