A Complete Compact Kit for Perspex Restoration
This kit combines the three-stage NOVUS plastic-polishing system with drill-mounted accessories for restoring compatible Perspex and acrylic surfaces. It is suited to smaller projects such as faded headlight covers, fish tanks, screens and display panels.
Kit contents
- NOVUS #1, #2 and #3 plastic-polishing compounds
- Polishing cloths
- Drill backing pad
- Two glass-felt polishing pads
Three progressive stages
- Use NOVUS #3 where required for heavier scratch correction.
- Refine the surface with NOVUS #2.
- Finish with NOVUS #1 to clean and brighten the surface.
Use a compatible variable-speed drill at controlled speed and keep the pad moving. Excessive pressure, speed or heat can distort plastic.
Before use: Confirm that the surface is uncoated, polishable acrylic or another NOVUS-compatible plastic. Test in an inconspicuous area; deep damage may not be fully removable.
