Pipe Polishers for Tubes, Handrails & Curved Metal Surfaces
Shop pipe polishers, belt-sanding attachments, complete kits and finishing belts for stainless steel, aluminium, handrails, tubing and other curved metal surfaces. Choose between lighter workshop setups and heavier-duty systems for more demanding pipe-finishing work.
Trizact Grades vs Standard Abrasive Grit
Trizact abrasives use a different grading system to standard abrasive belts. Use this approximate comparison when selecting the appropriate abrasive for pipe, tube and handrail finishing.
- A160 / Grade 120: approx. 120-150 grit - coarse material removal
- A100 / Grade 200: approx. 200 grit - general surface preparation
- A65 / Grade 280: approx. 220-240 grit - intermediate finishing and blending
- A45 / Grade 400: approx. 350-400 grit - fine finishing
- A30 / Grade 600-800: approx. 600-800 grit - very fine finishing before polishing
Polishing tip: Start with the grade needed to remove the existing scratches or surface damage, then progressively move through finer grades. Each stage should remove the scratch pattern left by the previous abrasive before moving to the next stage.
