Purpose-built felt polishing head
The thick wool felt wheel provides a stable polishing face while the aluminium adaptor and drill shank create a practical power-tool system for controlled glass restoration with cerium oxide slurry.
Recommended polishing method
- Clean the glass thoroughly to remove dirt, grease and residue.
- Mix cerium oxide powder with water into a thin, milk-like slurry.
- Apply the slurry to the felt wheel or glass, then work the marked area with even overlapping movements.
- Keep the surface cool and wet. Stop regularly, wipe away residue and inspect progress.
- Wash and store the polishing head after use.
Important: Never allow the glass to overheat or run dry. The kit is intended for light surface damage and deposits; deep scratches may require professional assessment.
