This DIY kit is an excellent cost effective solution for repairs to car glass, windscreens and all other glass products. Kit contains enough consumables for more than one repair. 125mm hook and loop backing pad with an adptor for a drill machine and can also be polisher mounted with an M14 thread.

Black velour to one side to give the best grip against the backing pad and to help stop heat build up on the surface. On side two is a soft face for faster cutting action and quality.

To get best results with this pads use with hook and loop backing pad (6mm or M14) and glass polishing compound at a speed around 2000 RPM.
This kit consists of:
1 x 125mm hook and loop backing pad (M14 thread) and 8mm drill adaptor.
1 x 250gram cerium oxide powder and mixing bottle.
4 x pads ideal for final finishing as well as removing minor scratches and scuffs from many surfaces.
How to use this with a polishing kit:
Mix some Cerium oxide powder into water to a form a thin paste like slurry eg. milk-like consistency, in a small spray bottle which can be used to apply to your polishing pad
Clean the glass surface removing all dirt, grease and residue
Apply the polishing compound mixture to the polishing pad or glass surface
Make sure to mark the inside of the glass with the crayon to identify the area you are working on
With the mounted pad in the drill begin working the area required.
Move the pad up and down, left and right in even movements on the work area.
Keep the surface cool and wet to prevent the glass getting too hot. (Very Important!!)
Inspect the work area by wiping off the residue and keep working until the area is satisfactorily polished
On completion wash and store your polishing pads to use again on your next project.
