Stainless Steel Scratch-Repair & Drill Polishing Kit
A comprehensive preparation-to-polish kit for stainless-steel sinks, cooker hoods, motorcycle and automotive exhausts, fittings and other reflective surfaces. Designed for use with a compatible electric drill.
Polishing wheels and accessories
- 100mm × two-section sisal polishing wheel
- 100mm × two-section colour-stitched polishing wheel
- 38mm cylinder, 65mm dome and 50mm goblet cotton mops with 6mm arbors
- 6mm × 75mm tapered mandrel / mop taper
- 40 × 40cm microfibre cloth and Vienna Lime residue-removal powder
Scratch preparation
- Two flap wheels with 6.35mm shafts
- Wet-and-dry abrasive sheets in 600, 1200 and 1500 grade
- Two fine single-sided sponge sanding pads
Cutting and finishing products
- 250g Grey Fastcut compound for initial cutting on hard metals
- 250g SS Finish compound for high brightness and final refinement
- 250mL Liquid Reflection metal polish for hand-applied final finishing
Start with the least aggressive abrasive that will remove the defect. Progress through finer grades, then polish with dedicated wheels and compounds. Deep damage may require professional assessment.
Choose the right steel-polishing setup
Use wheel-only kits with an existing compatible machine, drill kits for shaped and localised work, or a complete Shumba machine package when a dedicated workshop system is required.
