Suggested Work Sequence
- Clean and assess the surface, then test your process in an inconspicuous area.
- Use the flap wheels or wet/dry abrasives as required, progressing through the grades until the previous scratch pattern is removed.
- Select a suitable cutting compound: Fastcut or Bright Cut DX for stronger cutting, or Tripoli for suitable soft metals.
- Refine the surface on a clean stitched or cotton wheel with SS Finish or Multishine.
- Use Green Chrome on a separate clean, softer wheel for the high-brightness stage.
- Choose a shaped cotton mop for internal, curved or irregular areas.
- Complete detailed hand-finishing with Liquid Reflection or Blue Sapphire and the microfibre cloth.
Important: Confirm wheel size, bore and safe speed are compatible with your machine. Never mix compounds on one wheel and always wear suitable protective equipment.
