200mm Truck Airflow Metal Polishing Kit
Used with this variable speed barrel polisher machine or variable speed polisher sander type machine, this kits comes with the airflow polishing wheels and compounds to produce a very high finish to your alloy or non ferrous metal surface. Ideal for polishing Alloy and stainless on trucks and rigs. Having these two machines in the kit gives you the versatility to access areas you ordinarily wouldn’t if you have just one or the other.
Included in the kit is.
200mm single section (13-18mm width) set of airflow wheels 16mm center hole that comes with an M14 adapter to fit both polishers having the same M14 spindles.
This set is ideal for use to polish most metal to a vey high finish (used in conjunction with cutting and finishing compounds)
The unique folding of layers allows these mops to run cooler than conventional mops by allowing air to circulate through the folds.
Good for aluminium, steel and can be used on other metal surfaces, helps reduce heat build up which can damage some substrates.
To be secured using the Flanges and M14 airflow adapter.
The Maroon Satin Non-Woven Airway Buffing Wheel is ideal for use un the preparation process for removing those deeper scratches and blemishes before moving onto your sanding work. The better you prep the surface to 800-1200 grit wet and dry the better your finish is going to be.
Hard (Yellow treated), Course (Blue treated), Medium (Orange treated and Fine (Natural) polishing wheels.
The treated yellow and blue mops can be used with the Grey Cutting compound.
The orange and natural can be used with the Green Chrome finishing compound.
M14 threaded tapered adaptor used with the 200mm x 120 leaf calico wheel with Multishine finishing compound for the final high buff finish and maintenance buffing.
A drill mounted tapered adaptor comes with the 100mm polishing wheels which include a sisal treated, colour stitch, white stitch and calico loose leaf, including the cylinder, dome and goblet mops are drill mounted to get into the smaller, tighter spots where your larger airflows are unable to reach.
We’ve also included some Vienne Lime used with a microfiber cloth to remove residue compound and metal from the surface of the metal created whilst cutting/ polishing. Simply by dipping a cloth into the powder and wiping away the residue. Used especially when changing from one wheel and compound combination to another.
Some Reflection metal polish to enhance your work on completion. Applied with a microfiber cloth.
It is a good idea to regularly “freshen” your polishing wheels with buffing rake provided before applying more compound and continuing during the polishing process.
