Compound System
Ferropol MG
A fast and economical cutter for hard metals, designed for high metal removal with less emphasis on brightness. Best used on sisal and treated buffs and airflows for scratches and orange peel removal.
Green Chrome
Designed for mirror finishing with minimal cut. Best used after proper cutting or pre-polishing on a soft cotton buff.
Blue Multishine
A versatile finishing compound suitable for all metals, and can also perform as a cutter when used on a hard cotton, sisal buff or airway wheels.
How The Wheel Set Works
- Metal center Non-woven wheel: ideal for surface preparation prior to cutting combination.
- Sisal wheels, Yellow airflow, Blue Airflow: for cutting stages using the grey Ferropol MG compound
- Colour stitch wheels, Blue or Orange Airflow: can be used for both cutting and polishing using the Green Chrome Compound
- White stitch wheels, Orange or Natural Airflow: for minimal cutting and high-finish work using the Green Chrome or Blue Multishine compound
- B loose flap wheels, Natural Airflow: for polishing and buffing to a high finish using the Blue Multishine compound
- Wool polishing drum: for maintaining a high finish used with the Reflection Paste.
- 4″, 6″ and 8″ sizes: allow you to match the wheel to the task, access area and machine setup
Cleaning & Finishing Support
Vienna Lime cleaning powder is included to remove grease and compound residues after polishing. Apply it to a clean lint-free cloth and wipe over the area you have polished.
Reflection metal polish paste is included for hand finishing and shine enhancement on stainless fittings, brass, bullbars, rims, alloy fuel tanks, cutlery and dull metal surfaces.
A polishing wheel rake is also included to freshen polishing wheels during polishing and between compound and wheel changes.
