75mm Felt Polishing Kit for Glass, Plastic and Metal
A versatile drill-mounted polishing system with four 75mm felt pads, a hook-and-loop backing pad, 250g cerium oxide and 250mL glass polishing compound. Designed for controlled finishing and fine surface-restoration work on compatible glass, plastic and metal surfaces.
Kit contents
Four 75mm felt pads, one 75mm hook-and-loop backing pad with drill adaptor, 250g cerium oxide with mixing bottle and 250mL glass polishing compound.
Best suited to
Fine scratches, light scuffs, haze, dullness and final finishing on compatible glass, plastic and metal surfaces.
One compact system for several polishing applications
The 75mm pad size offers a practical balance between localised control and useful surface coverage. The drill adaptor allows use with a compatible variable-speed drill, while the hook-and-loop system makes pad changes and cleaning straightforward. Cerium oxide is suited to compatible glass polishing, and the supplied polishing compound supports controlled finishing work.
Four reusable felt pads
Bonded fibres provide a consistent working face and help minimise loose material on the surface.
Drill-mounted convenience
The backing pad and adaptor suit compatible variable-speed drills. Check secure attachment before use.
Two polishing media
The kit includes cerium oxide powder and liquid glass polishing compound for suitable restoration stages.
Multi-surface capability
Use on compatible glass, clear plastics and metals after testing a small inconspicuous area.
Recommended polishing method
- Clean the surface thoroughly and remove dirt, grease and residue.
- Select the appropriate polishing medium for the material.
- For glass, mix cerium oxide with clean water to form a thin slurry.
- Work with controlled speed and overlapping movements; the existing product guidance recommends approximately 2,000 RPM.
- Keep glass cool and wet throughout polishing and do not allow the pad to run dry.
- Stop regularly, wipe clean and inspect the result.
Important: Always test plastics and coated metals in an inconspicuous area. Deep glass scratches, chips or cracks may require professional assessment.
