This drill mounted perspex headlight restoration kit has the ability to sand and prepare a variety of surfaces including perspex, metals, paints, plastics and glass to name a few.  The kit is best used with water with a range of abrasive pads from P80 up to P2000 grades.

Perspex and Glass Polisher with Cerium Oxide

This drill mounted kit is ideal for removing those scuffs and scratches from your perspex, windscreens, scratched glass, fish tanks, shower doors, patio and window glazing etc.

The Polishing Head Assembly consists of a 1-1/2″ (38.1 mm) thick x 3″ (76.2 mm) diameter wool felt wheel, aluminum adapter plate, and a 1/4″ (6.3 mm) diameter shank all combine to make the Polishing Head Assembly. Use it with your electric drill. It will remove light scratches and water deposits from glass using any electric drill or power tool with a standard chuck or 5/8-11 thread mount. 

How to use this kit:

Mix some  Cerium oxide powder  into water to a form a thin paste like slurry eg. milk-like consistency, in a small spray bottle which can be used to apply to your polishing pad

Clean the glass surface removing all dirt, grease and residue

Apply the polishing compound mixture to the polishing pad or glass surface

Make sure to mark the inside of the glass with the crayon to identify the area you are working on

With the mounted pad in the drill begin working the area required.

Move the pad up and down, left and right in even movements on the work area.

Keep the surface cool and wet to prevent the glass getting too hot. (Very Important!!)

Inspect the work area by wiping off the residue and keep working until the area is satisfactorily polished

On completion wash and store your polishing pad to use again on your next project.
