Bring a brighter finish to your aluminium projects with a straightforward bench polishing kit. This package pairs the Shumba 550W bench polisher and its standard 200mm wheels and tapered spindle adaptors with just two alloy polishing compounds: Tripoli for the initial polishing stage and Green Chrome for finishing.

What is included?

1 × Shumba 550W bench polisher.
The machine’s standard two 200mm polishing wheels and left- and right-hand tapered spindle adaptors.
1 × Silica-Free Tripoli Cut & Colour Compound – 250g (BROW-0250).
1 × Green Chrome Mirror-Finish Compound – 250g (GREE-0250).

The two compounds are the only added accessories. No extra wheel sets, pedestal, rake, liquid polish or other accessory products are included.

A simple cutting and finishing progression

Start with Tripoli on a suitable dedicated wheel. This combined cutting and colouring compound suits soft non-ferrous metals including aluminium, brass and copper. It helps address light marks and produces a bright finish. Deep scratches and damaged coatings need appropriate preparation before polishing.

Clean the workpiece before moving to Green Chrome on a separate, clean finishing wheel. Green Chrome provides high-brightness finishing with minimal cut once deeper marks have been removed. Results depend on the alloy, surface preparation and wheel choice; test a discreet area first.

Choose and use with confidence
