Stainless Steel & Alloy Polishing Kit – 7 Piece
A compact drill-mounted cutting and finishing system for stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper, chrome and many other metals. The matched 100mm wheels and compounds take surfaces from initial cut to a bright, refined finish.
Why Choose This Kit?
Two-stage polishing
A treated sisal wheel provides the stronger cutting stage, while the colour-stitch wheel refines the surface and develops brightness.
Made for a power drill
The supplied tapered mandrel mounts both 100mm polishing wheels to a compatible electric drill.
Versatile metal coverage
Suitable for common workshop, vehicle, household and restoration jobs across hard and soft metals.
Detail finish included
Blue Sapphire paste and a microfibre cloth support final hand-polishing around intricate areas and chrome trim.
Applications
What’s Included
Wheels & Mounting
- 1 × 100mm / 4 inch × 2-section treated sisal wheel
- 1 × 100mm / 4 inch × 2-section colour-stitch wheel
- 1 × 6mm × 70mm tapered drill mandrel

Suggested Polishing Sequence
- Clean the surface and remove grease, dirt and loose corrosion.
- Fit the treated sisal wheel to the tapered mandrel and apply Bright Cut DX sparingly while the wheel is rotating.
- Polish with light, controlled pressure, keeping the wheel moving and allowing the compound to do the work.
- Use a separate, clean colour-stitch wheel with Green Chrome to refine the finish and increase brightness.
- Apply Blue Sapphire by hand with the microfibre cloth where detailed or intricate finishing is required.
Tip: Always test on an inconspicuous area first. Do not mix compounds on the same wheel, and wear appropriate eye, respiratory and hand protection.
