Three-Bar Metal Finishing Compound Kit – Large Bars
A deliberately selected compound system for workshops needing three complementary large-bar formulas for refining and finishing ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Each included bar has a distinct role so you can match the cutting and finishing sequence to the metal and surface condition.
What is included
800g
Multi-purpose all-metal finishing compound; a firmer wheel adds cut.
800g
Minimal-cut mirror finisher for use after sound pre-polishing.
800g
Clean cut-and-colour compound offering brightness and useful refinement, including on stainless.
Metal and job selection
Suitable across stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, brass, copper and other ferrous or non-ferrous metals. Select the compound by the metal, existing finish and amount of correction required—not by colour alone. Deep scratches, corrosion and coatings should be removed by sanding or surface preparation before powered polishing begins.
Recommended polishing sequence
Use Stainless Finish White or Multishine to refine a smooth or previously cut surface. Adjust wheel firmness according to how much correction is needed. Finish with Green Chrome on a separate clean soft cotton wheel for maximum brightness.
Wheel pairing and technique
Use sisal, treated Airflow or another firm cutting wheel for aggressive compounds; use stitched cotton for controlled refining; and use loose-leaf calico or another soft clean wheel for final colour. Charge the wheel lightly and often. Excess compound adds heat and loading without improving the finish. Clean the workpiece between stages.

Safety
Wear eye and face, hearing and respiratory protection appropriate to the equipment and residue produced. Use effective extraction or ventilation. Secure small workpieces, wear close-fitting clothing, tie back hair and keep jewellery and loose items away from rotating machinery. Inspect wheels and mounting hardware, remain within speed ratings and stop if vibration, damage or abnormal noise develops.
Match each stage with the correct polishing wheel, or compare individual compounds.
