The thick wool felt wheel provides a firm polishing surface, while the aluminium adaptor and drill shank create a practical power-tool assembly for glass restoration work.
Recommended polishing method
- Clean the glass thoroughly to remove dirt, grease and loose contamination.
- Apply a suitable glass-polishing compound or cerium oxide slurry separately.
- Work the marked area using light pressure and even overlapping movements.
- Keep the glass cool and wet throughout the process, stopping regularly to wipe and inspect.
- Clean and dry the polishing head after use.
