What is included?

• 1 × Shumba 550W bench polisher.
• The machine’s standard two 200mm polishing wheels and left- and right-hand tapered spindle adaptors.
• 1 × Fastcut Cutting Compound – 250g (GREY-0250).
• 1 × Low-Wax Stainless Finishing Compound – 250g (WHIT-0250).

The two compounds are the only added accessories. Extra wheel sets, rakes, Vienne Lime and other recommended accessories are optional purchases and are not included in this kit.

Cut, refine and brighten stainless steel

Fastcut is an economical first-stage cutter for hard metals and general metal polishing. Its product guidance recommends a sisal or other firm cutting wheel. Match the wheel to the surface condition; heavy cutting may require a suitable additional cutting wheel. Prepare deeper scratches and damaged coatings appropriately before polishing.

Clean the workpiece before changing to Low-Wax Stainless on a separate clean wheel. This compound is intended for smooth or pre-polished stainless steel surfaces, helping address light marks and haze while producing medium brightness. Its product guidance recommends a white-stitched wheel for refinement or a suitable soft cotton mop for more colour. A finer compound may be needed for a higher mirror finish.

Choose and use with confidence

Keep a separate wheel for each compound and avoid mixing wheels used on different metals. Apply compound sparingly and check that wheels and adaptors suit the machine and speed. Mount the machine securely, follow its instructions and use suitable protective equipment and dust control.
